Mr. Benjamin Glosser - Director of Bands

Benjamin Glosser is a musician and music educator from Chesapeake, VA. He graduated from Grassfield High School and went on to earn his Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Old Dominion University. Benjamin studied saxophone in the studio of Mr. Dennis Zeisler and performs regularly with the Virginia Wind Symphony and Top Hats Orchestra. Since 2016, he has been directing high school bands and was the Director of the 2023 All-City Jazz Ensemble. Benjamin is also the Event Chair for the VBODA IV District Band Event and was once a Virginia Honor Band director recipient. Additionally, he serves as a curriculum writer/advisor for Guitar 1 and Guitar 2 in Chesapeake, VA.
